Tweeples (Twitter people) in particular – you’ll enjoy seeing a picture of food. Those are the popular things to ask for. One time I made steak for dinner, tweeted about it, and someone asked if I’d taken a picture.
So – in the spirit of voyeurism – here’s the basket of chicken tenders and fries from the Baxter Country Store in tiny Baxter, Missouri. I had a wonderful time with friends listening to Stuck in the Mud Bluegrass Band.
Baxter is a little town on Table Rock Lake, a man-made lake that looks like a Rorschach test. because the many “fingers” of the lake make it look as if someone dropped ink on the land and it made a lake. Actually, Table Rock Lake is man-made.
I went there to listen to live bluegrass music and enjoy a little time away from the house. My friend Pam and I also discussed marketing ideas over dinner – because for us…that’s FUN! The Country Store is a local hang-out, andit’s fun to enjoy the characters who live in the area.
