Inspirational Quotes on Success from Facing the Giants: Are You Playing Small?
This week, my power team has been talking a lot about quantum leaps. One of the group is reading a book called You 2: A High Velocity Formula for Multiplying Your Personal Effectiveness in Quantum Leaps, and it got him (and the rest of us) thinking, talking and writing about overcoming fear, doubt and hesitation..
The big question is, “Am I holding back and playing small?”
Things tend to happen in themes, it seems.
Perhaps it is merely the reticular activating system bringing to conscious awareness the patterns you’re already looking for.
Perhaps it is divine guidance!
Then today, the top post on my Facebook Wall was a video (below) including the following fantastic inspirational quotes on success.
“Attitude is the aroma of the heart. If your attitude stinks, your heart is not right.”

Love that quote! Everything comes down to attitude (or mindset).
How do you respond when you’re tested beyond all endurance?
It’s not only about big unexpected things like recovering from losses in a natural disaster or dealing with the sudden death of a loved one.
What about the day-to-day challenges of achieving your goals? Things like growing your business, being the best parent/friend/lover you can be, and bringing out the best you have to any activity.
Do you bring your best every day?
Imagine being the underdog team facing the giants, feeling deflated before you have even met the big challenge you dread..
Watch this video clip from the movie Facing the Giants.
The scene begins with Coach talking to his football team. That’s where the wonderful inspirational quotes come in.

and a couple of the kids mouth off that coach sure is preachy. This leads to an unpleasant workout, and soon thereafter, a teaching moment.
The most influential player on the team says he feels like they have no chance against the Giants.
Coach challenges him to give his very best. He blindfolds him and makes him crawl on hands and feet (no knees allowed) carrying a man on his back for 30 yards.
The team watch, amazed, as coach pushes the player to go much farther than that.
Seeing that clip makes it clear that everyone has much more strength and endurance than anyone can imagine.
But like the football team, it’s all too common to feel defeated before you begin. Defeat, doubt and fear cause you to play small.
A great way to find your inner resources and to get inspired as you make your goals and dreams come true is to take the 21–Day “I AM a Gift to the World!” Challenge.
Don’t worry – You won’t have to carry a man on your back! You’ll be challenged, inspired and supported all the way to your dreams.
