Get Published: Publishing Options

There are a lot of options for publishing these days. The ones I list are meticulously researched. I hand-picked them for you because I trust the source. Please be aware that, as in any other industry, there are both reputable and unreputable publishers. Please do your own due diligence before making a publishing choice.

Thanks to the new FTC censorship…er…regulations, I will do my disclosure dance for you now. I do not accept payment in order to promote or advertise a publishing option, and in most cases I earn nothing for promoting the publisher (unfortunately, as I enjoy affiliate commissions) . And keep in mind I only promote a product or service in which I believe wholeheartedly. I would never promote just to make a buck. Taht never works.

Who Promotes Your Book?

No matter whether you self publish or go to a traditional publisher, YOU DO!!! Get used to it! You’re not John Grisham or Dan Brown. Never expect anyone else to believee in or promote your book more than YOU.

Amazon.com Publishing

You can publish affordably wiht Amazon.com and rest assured your book will appear in the listings right away.

Dan Case, owner of AWOC Books was my first publisher. He is a small publisher. Publishing is print on demand. Cost per book is commensorate with what you would expect to pay for a short run of books. YOU the author keep all your rights. Be sure to review the types of books he publishes to make sure what you want to present fits. Don’t expect much in the way of editing. Dan is a good guy and very fair.
