Get Rid of Faceless Wonder Syndrome: Of Gravatars, Avatars and Profile Pictures. How Do You See More of Your Face?

There are so many ways for anyone to show who you are on the web that there is absolutely no reason to appear ANYWHERE as a faceless wonder.

Sites like Facebook and Twitter all have a simple procedure to upload a picture, and it’s the same thing you would use to put a picture anywhere. You just browse for a picture and click upload.

So then why oh why are there so many  on Twitter? It drives me NUTS!

And did you realize that you can even see your lovely face on this blog when you make a comment?

Yes, I have avatars enabled, so it is possible that you can see yourself on my blog.

You can go to http://gravatar.com and upload an image that will appear anytime on ANY blog you comment on – including mine.

So if you see only a blank place when you comment, it’s because you’re a faceless wonder. And since I KNOW you love to see yourself, why not go ahead and get a Gravatar?
