Could You Write a Book that Shares Your Message? The World Needs Your Message NOW!

The world needs your message.
I was on a call recently on which someone has been procrastinating for a couple months getting her message and her book out of her and into the world. I could hear the fear in her voice as she said, “I’m not really a writer.”
I cannot count the times I have seen people who yearn to write a book and share their message. What separates the average person with a message and someone like Oprah? Probably many things, but in my opinion, the biggest barrier that the budding messenger has comes down to one trait alone.
I did not have the opportunity to express to her what I share here with you now.
You are the change the world craves. There is no time for you to feel fearful or doubtful of yourself. Trust in your message. The time for peace, love and healing – the time for the message inside you that calls forth every drop of greatness within you – is NOW.
Now.
If you feel fear and let it stop your message, then you let just a little more darkness enter the world. Your message is not about you. Your message is ready to burst forth from you so that it can raise the consciousness vibration of one person at a time to make the world a wonderful home.
If you cannot trust yourself or your skill, then trust the message. Because the message is from the Source. You are the messenger, not the message. Trust your message.
The desire within you that caused you to be a messenger is there because you are truly meant, even designed, to bring forth the teachings and wisdom given for you to plant into the world.
Trust in your message and trust that you have enough.
You ARE enough.
Open yourself and let the message flow through you.
Be a Messenger of Change
How would you like some help as you craft your message in the most powerful way? How would you like to be a published author of your own 32–page mini-book within a short time?
I am an Ambassador of Change, and the same materials I’ve been using to create The Peace Seed (which comes out in about a month) are the same ones you will use as a Messenger of Change. I will even give you an email consultation when you are almost finished writing your minibook so I can help you get the best possible leverage out of your book.
Why do I want you to be part of this program? Because Robert Evans has put together excellent resources that guide you through the writing process. When you meet the deadline for writing your book, you then get more guidance through the publishing process and then through marketing your book.

Be the change You Want to See. Storytelling for Peace: Peace Is In Your Hands
February 3, 2010 by Ronda Del Boccio, The Story Lady

What can you – one single small person – do to bring about peace? Have you ever wondered that? Have you ever felt tiny and insignificant as you consider how you can bring about peace?
Peace is not some huge, nebulous thing that is out of your control. The truth is, peace is in your hands. You get to choose.
You choose whether or not to be a living peace sign by treating people with respect.
Every thought of bringing understanding, getting to know someone whose ways are very different, learning about a culture that seems alien to your way of understanding, listening to people tell their story, and spreading peace through simple actions using the power of the internet are all ways to be a peace seed – a bringer of peace.
Storytelling is a powerful path to peace. How can you feel hatred when you discover the power and beauty in someone else’s faith or culture?
The Dalai Lama has said that technology gets i the way of peace, but in fact, technology, like any other tool, can be used to unite people and bring understanding.
Ten Million CLicks for Peace is an organization which empowers you to use the power of technology to bring about peace.
It’s about taking small, simple, measurable actions such as tweeting, posting a peace tag in your email and/or on your website, passing peace cards around or making a donation that feeds and shelters refugees as they rebuild a new life.
Join 10 Million Clicks for Peace and you will see a Peace Impact Meter, which shows you a visual representation of the actions you take on the Peace Impaact Meter, which you see below.
using the Peace Impact meter, you can easily take even a few moments per day and be a living peace sign.
One of the things you will soon be able to do that shows up on your peace imapct meter is to buy one of the Ambassador of Change movement books. Mine, The Peace Seed, is one of them.
The Peace Seed will soon be ready for publication. This is a quick video about your personal power to impact peace.
You’ll discover how storytelling is a potent tool of peace in this little mini-book and the online reflection and journal questions that come with it.
You’ll discover:
- How storytelling bridges the h uman divide
- The one story every human responds to automatically
- How to keep your family legacy alive forever.
- How to honor your cultural heritage as you live your own story

How to Write a Book: Cover Image for The Peace Seed is Chosen! And the Winner Is…

A few days ago, I asked your opinion on the cover image for one of my upcoming books, The Peace Seed: Personal and Global Transformation through Storytelling. I have big plans and dreams for this book, and I am so excited at all the responses to the blog post, which you can see at ProfitableStorytelling.com/opinion.
The image below shows a thumbnail of the 6 finalists I gave you from which to choose.

The cover of a book is a big deal, because it is the first impression. You never get a second chance to make a first impression.
Today on a webinar for those who subscribed, I revealed the image I selected, and I also finalized the “copy” – the words – for the back cover. Well, I think I finalized it, anyway! I’m going to have the book ready for interior and cover design by Sunday.
The Peace Seed Goes Global
As I mentioned, I have big plans and dreams for this little tiny book.
The Peace Seed is a 32–page Messenger Minibook, which means it is 3.5×5 inches (look at one of those little index cards and it’s just a little wider than that). The book will weigh just a bit more than half an ounce. Yet there is much more to The Peace Seed than the little book.
A Messenger MiniBook means that this book has a small size, a special message, and an online activity journal, which developer Robert Evans calls an “online environment” attached to it. I’ve got the online journal just about ready for you as well as the book.
What did I put in t he online environment – the activity journal – for the book? There are several sections which each have some text, a video, and several journal questions you can answer.
How does the online journal environment fit into the book? Inside the book is a website URL and a special code which is your ticket to receive all the extra material. When you answer a question in the space provided, the material is yours alone. Nobody sees it. Not even me. So you write your answers freely and privately.
In addition to the minibook and the online journal environment, you’ll have ThePeaceSeed.com, which is an open interactive blog with stories – including one from you, I hope.
A generous portion of profits from The Peace Seed go to my favorite organization, 10 Million Clicks for Peace. My goal is to sell at least a million books and give at least $1 million USD to the organization.
How will I sell at least a million books? Aside from my own efforts and those of the organization, I get sponsors to make bulk purchases of 1,000 or 3,000 or 5,000 of the little books to distribute. I can also arrange a special printing for any peace, children’s or positive change organization so that both they and 10MC benefit.
The Winning image
The winning cover image for The Peace Seed is this photograph of powerful light shining in cupped hands:
(link to image on IStockPhoto)
Why I chose this image is because of the sense of power it conveys. Several people told me this image “jumped out” at them or that it grabbed their attention. The image is not specific enough to put something in your head before you read the book, and it is a real eye-catcher. It will also look good on a little index card sized book. Plus it should be easy enough for the designer to harmonize this image with a back cover color that will be easy to read with text on it.
Be the first to know when The Peace Seed is ready!
You can register right now for early notification of when The Peace Seed comes out. Simply register below and you’ll be the first to know…after me and the Ambassadors of Change, of course!
